This is probably the most under-utilized Bosch Attachment.  It can do much more than just make hamburger.  You can take that cooked ground hamburger or other meats and make them into sandwich spreads.  Make sorbets out of frozen fruits.  Nut butters out of peanuts, cashews, almonds (use accessory disk 2mm for smooth peanut butter.)   Make Pulse out of seeds, dates, prunes and fruits.  Allows you to grind and mince fresh meats, stuffings, and virtually all foods into any desired consistency. Minces raw and cooked meat, chicken, fish, vegetables and cheese.

It is made of metal and rugged plastic.  The grinder comes with a stainless-steel 4-blade knife and a stainless steel disk with 4.5-mm perforations.  The grinder is capable of processing up to 4 pounds (1.9 kilograms) per minute.  It disassmenbles easily for cleaning.

The disk that comes standard has 4.5 mm holes. One expansion disk sets, an 3 & 8 mm disk set.  Individual disks are 2 mm, 3 mm, 4.5 mm, 6 mm, and 8 mm.

This model has a long leg for use with the Universal Plus kitchen machines.  If you have an older Universal 700 watt Mixer you will want the Food and Meat Grinder (for older Universal models) with a shorter leg if it is available, or purchase this model and then add a longer leg.  If you have a meat grinder for the Bosch Universal and have purchased the newer Bosch Universal Plus, order the longer slide-on leg.
