Bosch Universal Cake Paddles are an exciting new Bosch Universal accessory or attachment to enhance the use of your Bosch Universal Mixer and continue its function as your ultimate kitchen machine.  They can be used with both the older model Bosch Universal MUM6 series mixers and the current Bosch Universal Plus Series kitchen machines.  
  • Cake Paddles are designed with fewer tines than standard wire whips, allowing you to throughly mix pourable batters or light mixtures without incorporating too much air.
  • Ideal for quick bread recipes, such as muffins and pancakes, which can become tough and chewy if over mixed.
  • Cake Paddles work well for pourable mixtures, such as cakes, frostings, muffins and quick bread (non-yeasted breads).
  • Must be used with the Metal Whip Driver.
  • Cake Paddles are dishwasher safe.
  • To further reduce mixing time, add the Bowl Scraper attachment (sold separately).
  • Manufacturer warranties this product to be free of defects in materials and workmanship to the original purchaser for 1 year.
NOTE- PLEASE READ: You will bend or break your wire whips or whisks if you use them to whip solid butter, stiff dough, partially cooked potatoes, or anything with this type of consistency.  The Bosch motor is so strong the whip wires bend if the resistance is too strong.  The universal cookie paddles or cake paddles are designed for this.   The Bosch Universal Plus comes with a white plastic whip holder which may break with the increased resistance of tougher mixing. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE PLASTIC WHIP HOLDER BE REPLACED WITH A METAL WHIP HOLDER- PART 048945 IF THE UNIVERSAL COOKIE PADDLES OR CAKE PADDLES ARE USED WITH THE NEW BOSCH UNIVERSAL PLUS.   If you want to save on the package of both hit this link- cake paddles and metal drive piece.
