"The Bosch Universal Mixer is the safest, most user-friendly, most powerful kitchen machine you can buy. It will out-mix and outlast the Kitchen Aid every time." The article written in 2006 is much longer and very detailed. Since then the Universal was upgraded to the Universal Plus machine with 800 watts of power, a larger mixing bowl (6.5 qt.) and many additional features.
Just wanted to let you know that I bought my Bosch in 1985 and it's still going strong. Have made our bread every since. Nothing to compare! Also make cookies, meringue's etc. What a great product. - Jo

L’Equip Juicers:
First for Women selects L’Equip XL Juicer as top pick – Bauer Publishing, Englewood Cliffs, NJ
The national magazine, First for Women, recently selected the L’Equip “Mini” XL juicer as their top pick in “The Best of the Juicers” trial. The article appeared in their September 10, 2007, issue which hit the newsstand on August 10, 2007, (pg. 33) and since that time demand has been high!
First staffers armed themselves with 5 pounds of produce to determine which of the best-selling juicers excelled in sturdiness, ease of cleanup and effectiveness at an affordable price. They felt the L’Equip was “close to perfection.” They were impressed with the new 3” feeding chute, external pulp bin, warranty and affordability. They also felt it yielded the driest pulp and most juice.
The XL Juicer has 800 watts, and an extra wide mouth which accommodates even whole apples and gives optimum performance on all fruits and vegetables. It has a 6-year warranty.
Hammacher Schlemmer also rated the L'Equip XL Juicer as best in the "Best-Test" product review.
“This electric juice extractor produced the sweetest juice with the least amount of froth and was easy to clean, thereby earning The Best rating from the Hammacher Schlemmer Institute.” This endorsement went on to say that the L’Equip XL Juicer made the most flavorful orange, apple, and vegetable juices while filtering out all of the bitter pith, unlike lesser models that produced acrid juice with an abundance of insipid froth. It yielded a full 8-ounce glass of orange juice from just 11 ounces of oranges, superior to other juicers that produced only 6.93 ounces. Analysts inserted whole pieces of fruit and vegetables into It's 3"-wide chute, unlike competing juicers that could only accommodate apples that were cut in half or quartered. It's blade, pulp container, and filter are lightweight, easy to remove, and dishwasher safe, enabling quick and easy clean up.

“Blended not stirred. The L’Equip RPM blender cuts to the chase with a user friendly on-off toggle switch and a rotating knob that lets you control the speed. The heavy-duty polycarbonate pitcher holds 7 cups and features a tight-fitting lid. At 900 watts, this is a brute of a blender with a beautiful bushed metal base.”
